The Milas Social Security Center delegation visited Reşit Özer, Chairman of the Milas Chamber of Commerce and Industry Board of Directors, at his office.

The visit was attended by Esma Berna Üstün, Director of the Milas Social Security Center, Deputy Director Sezai Yalçın, Employer Chief Filiz Esen, and Employer Officer Hüseyin Cengiz.

During the visit, information was provided on new regulations regarding deferral and installment payments made under Law No. 6183, within the scope of Circular No. 2026/7 published by the Social Security Institution Insurance Premiums General Directorate on January 30, 2026.

The Circular specifically addressed the following:

· The removal of the 10% down payment requirement in deferment procedures,

· The evaluation criteria for new deferment requests regarding debts whose deferment has been canceled,

· Changes to the criteria
for termination due to missed monthly installments and current month debts.

Reşit Özer, Chairman of the MİTSO Board of Directors, stated that the regulations were important for members and thanked the SGK delegation for the informational visit. The visit concluded after a mutual exchange of views.
