WHAT IS A CAPACITY REPORT, WHY AND HOW IS IT PREPARED?
Capacity Reports, which are an important source of information for our country's military and industrial mobilization plans and programs and for determining domestic sources of materials needed for national defense, as well as for knowing and continuously monitoring our country's raw materials, auxiliary materials and production potential, are documents that all industrial establishments are required to have prepared periodically. (Council of Ministers Decision dated 16.06.1975)
According to Article 12/z of Law No. 5174, capacity reports for industrialists are prepared by Industry Chambers or Chambers of Industry and Commerce. They come into force after approval by the Union of Chambers.
Capacity Reports are prepared by Expert Committees appointed by Chambers and including engineers related to production subject. During preparation, it is mandatory to comply with criteria called "Capacity Principles" prepared by Union of Chambers.
HOW TO APPLY?
Industrialists wishing to obtain capacity report from Milas Chamber of Commerce and Industry must first be registered with the Chamber.
Documents required for application;
- Capacity report preparation request form signed by authorized signatories (Click for Capacity Report Preparation Request Form)
- Union of Chambers approval fee receipt (Deposit 3,750 TL to the following account number as Union of Chambers approval fee),

- If there are subcontracted workers, wet-signed subcontractor agreement and photocopy of subcontractor company's SGK monthly insured service list (together with signature circulars of parties) or wet-sealed notarized subcontractor agreement,
- Wet-sealed notarized signature circulars showing that authorized signatories are authorized to represent the company,
- If workplace belongs to you, photocopy of title deed; if workplace is rented, wet-signed sealed lease agreement (together with signature circulars of parties) or wet-sealed notarized lease agreement,
- Signed and sealed summary trial balance on main account basis for the most recent month,
- Documents proving that machinery owned by company belongs to company (photocopies of purchase invoices or if there is no purchase invoice / too many, signed and sealed machinery equipment subsidiary ledger printout signed by authorized signatories or CPA or Independent Accountant certified machinery equipment list for machines not in accounting records for various reasons such as second-hand/without invoice/custom manufacturing),
- If there is rented machinery and equipment, wet-signed sealed lease agreement (together with signature circulars of parties) or wet-sealed notarized lease agreement,
NOTE: You can bring the documents required for application to our Chamber in person.
CAPACITY REPORT COPY CERTIFICATION
The original capacity report prepared is given to the company as one copy. Certified copies must be given to institutions and authorities requesting them throughout the 3-year validity of the report.
No petition is required for certification; payment of certification fee is sufficient (Call 512 1118 for fee).

EXPERT WITNESS REPORTS
Examines and prepares reports on various Technical, Financial and Industrial determination requests of Members, Tax Offices, Courts, Customs and other Official departments.
WASTE LOSS AND YIELDS
Covers waste and loss rates occurring in raw and semi-finished materials during production and yield determinations.
MANUFACTURING ADEQUACY CERTIFICATES
Issued regarding company's adequacy for manufacturing a product.
Apply to our Chamber with petition for Manufacturing Adequacy Application.
TURKISH GOODS CERTIFICATE
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR TURKISH GOODS CERTIFICATE SALE:
- Turkish Goods Certificate Purchase Authorization Document (Click for Turkish Goods Certificate Purchase Authorization Document.)
- Photocopy of ID of person coming to purchase
- Photocopy of company signature circular or Power of Attorney and Signature Declaration
- If contractor and manufacturer company are not our Chamber members; Chamber registry certificate obtained from their affiliated Chamber
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR TURKISH GOODS CERTIFICATE APPROVAL:
Documents to be obtained from Manufacturer Company by Contractor Company and submitted to relevant Chamber to determine that goods recorded in Certificate are of Turkish origin:
- Petition (Click for Petition.)
- For goods wholly obtained or produced in Turkey Customs Territory; producer receipt, exchange registration declaration, mining license, purchase invoices, etc. relating to procurement of said goods.
- For goods whose production is realized through use of non-originating inputs; import declaration, purchase invoice, etc.
- Capacity reports of manufacturer companies with preparation date not exceeding three years
