The 2026 Labor Inspection Activities Information Meeting, organized by the Directorate of Guidance and Inspection of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, was hosted by the Milas Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MİTSO).

Reşit Özer, Chairman of the MİTSO Board of Directors, delivered the opening remarks at the meeting. He emphasized the importance of occupational health and safety and compliance with labor laws in the workplace, noting that keeping businesses informed about current legislation is of great importance.

Also attending the meeting were MİTSO Assembly Chairman Mustafa Yüksel, Board of Directors Vice Chairman Hasan Tiryakioğlu, Board Treasurer Soner Çamlıbelen, Board Member Koray Türkoğlu, and Assembly Member Canan Yayla.

During the program, İzmir Group Chairman Emrah Tekin, Chief Labor Inspectors Metin Şekeroğlu and Tevfik Görkem Atgın, along with Labor Inspectors Burak Kaygısız and Murat Aykın, provided participants with information on inspection processes related to occupational health and safety and work operations, as well as employers’ obligations and current practices. The program concluded with a question-and-answer session during which participants’ questions were answered.
