Reşit Özer, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Milas Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MİTSO); Mustafa Yüksel, Chairman of the General Assembly; Soner Çamlıbelen, Treasurer of the Board of Directors; and Board Members Koray Türkoğlu and Ömer Eliş attended the *“Real Sector & Financial Sector Dialogue Strengthening Meeting”* organized by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) in Ankara.

The meeting, hosted by TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, was attended by the general managers and deputy general managers of Ziraat Bank, Halkbank, and VakıfBank. As part of the meeting, the MİTSO delegation met with Halkbank General Manager Recep Süleyman Özdil. During the meeting, the challenges and requests of MİTSO members regarding access to financing were conveyed directly. MİTSO Board of Directors Chairman Reşit Özer stated that access to credit has become more difficult, that high POS terminal commission rates are negatively affecting businesses, and that high loan interest rates are placing a significant financial burden on members. He also emphasized the great importance of providing companies investing in the Milas Organized Industrial Zone with long-term loans at favorable interest rates. At the conclusion of the meeting, a dossier detailing Milas’s economic potential, investments in the Organized Industrial Zone, and the business community’s expectations was presented to Halkbank General Manager Recep Süleyman Özdil.

MİTSO Board of Directors Chairman Reşit Özer stated that they would continue to convey members’ issues and requests directly to the relevant institutions, adding that they would closely monitor all efforts aimed at facilitating businesses’ access to financing. He noted that the meeting was productive in terms of strengthening cooperation between the real sector and the financial sector and conveying members’ expectations to the relevant institutions.
