Visit to MİTSO from ADA Milas Local Products Cooperative
The newly established Ada Milas Local Products Production and Marketing Cooperative visited Reşit Özer, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Milas Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MİTSO).
During the visit, information was provided about the cooperative's founding purpose and the work it plans to carry out. In particular, projects aimed at the production and marketing of handicrafts and local products unique to Milas were discussed, along with the allocation of space within the Milas Uzunyuva Monumental Tomb and Museum Complex.
Cooperative officials stated that the goal is to increase the production of woven products, primarily Milas Handwoven Rugs, and local food products, and to offer them to visitors in a way that integrates with tourism. They emphasized that these efforts aim to preserve Milas' cultural heritage, support local producers, and contribute women's labor to the economy.
Reşit Özer, Chairman of the MİTSO Board of Directors, drew attention to the importance of branding Milas's geographically indicated and traditional products, stating that they are ready to support any initiative that will contribute to local development.
The visit concluded with mutual good wishes and messages of cooperation.
