Muğla Planning Agency (MUPA) Chairman of the Board Tansu Özcan and Vice Chairman Kerem Ekinci visited the Milas Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MİTSO) and met with the Chairman of the Board Reşit Özer.

During the visit, while information was shared about MUPA's planning studies throughout Muğla, cooperation opportunities that could be developed specifically for Milas were evaluated. Especially with a focus on strategic planning, ideas were exchanged on studies that could be implemented with inter-institutional coordination.

MUPA's main working areas such as sustainable development, rural development, water management, data analytics, agriculture, and tourism were among the prominent topics at the meeting. Tansu Özcan emphasized the critical importance of local collaborations in planning processes and pointed out that the future of Muğla can be built together and that institutional solidarity is our strongest support.

Established in line with the “World City Muğla” vision of Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ahmet Aras, MUPA continues its work by adopting a participatory, inclusive, and solution-oriented planning approach in the light of scientific data. With its structure consisting of Observatory, Plan-Policy-Design, Corporate Communication, and Action units, MUPA develops a multi-stakeholder model in which youth, women, producers, and all social segments are included in the process.
