Reşit Özer, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Milas Chamber of Commerce and Industry, paid a visit to Murat Neslihanoğlu, Head of the Muğla Liaison Office of the Agency for the Support of Agriculture and Rural Development, at his office.

During the visit, discussions were held regarding grant and support programs available for olive oil factories in Milas. In particular, the modernization of olive oil production facilities, technology investments, capacity expansion, and rural development support were addressed.

MİTSO Board of Directors Chairman Reşit Özer noted that Milas is one of Turkey’s key centers for high-quality olive oil production, emphasizing that producers and businesses effectively utilizing state support is of great importance for the sector. Özer stated that they are committed to pursuing any support and investment that contributes to the development of the olive oil sector.

Murat Neslihanoğlu, Head of the TKDK Muğla Liaison Office, noted that there are important grant programs aimed at supporting rural development for producers and businesses, and stated that information campaigns are ongoing to ensure businesses operating in the olive oil sector can benefit from these supports.
