Milas Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MİTSO) Chairman of the Board Reşit Özer visited Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ahmet Aras and Muğla Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry Seyfettin Baydar together with chamber and exchange presidents in Muğla.

The delegation, which also included Muğla Commodity Exchange President Hurşit Öztürk, Muğla Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Bülent Karakuş, Fethiye Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Osman Çıralı, Bodrum Chamber of Commerce President Mahmut Serdar Kocadon, and Marmaris Chamber of Commerce President Mutlu Ayhan, evaluated cooperation opportunities in both tourism and agriculture.

📍 Tourism and Joint Project Agenda
The first visit was made to Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ahmet Aras. During the meeting, participation in domestic and international fairs for the development of the tourism sector, joint works that can be done on a district basis, and issues under the responsibility of the municipality were discussed.
During the visit, MİTSO President Reşit Özer presented European Union geographically indicated Milas Olive Oil to Ahmet Aras and emphasized the importance of olive oil in the Milas and Muğla economy.

📍 Cooperation and Planning in Agriculture
The delegation then visited Muğla Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry Seyfettin Baydar. In this meeting, the current situation in agricultural production, planning for the upcoming period, and improvements needed in implementation were discussed.

MİTSO President Reşit Özer stated that the visits were productive in terms of joint projects that will contribute to the Muğla economy and said, "Both tourism and agriculture have strategic importance for Milas and Muğla. As chambers and exchanges, we will continue our cooperation with local governments and public institutions."
