Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry Agriculture and Rural Development Support Institution Aydın – Muğla Provincial Coordinator Arzu Akar and TKDK Muğla Liaison Office Supervisor Murat Neslihanoğlu visited Milas Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman of the Board Reşit Özer in his office.

Institutional cooperation studies for gaining new investments offered by TKDK within the scope of IPARD Programs were discussed.

IPARD is the Rural Development component of the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA) created by the European Union (EU) to support candidate and potential candidate countries. IPARD aims to support compliance preparations for the implementation and management of the European Union's Common Agricultural Policy, Rural Development Policy and related policies, and policy development in this context.

IPARD support must be implemented within the scope of the multi-annual “Rural Development Program”. In this process, support programs co-financed by the European Commission and the Republic of Turkey will be implemented.
