Qualified Workforce Training Program (NİYEP)
Dear Member,
Within the scope of the Qualified Workforce Training Program (NİYEP) initiated between the Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR) and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) in order to train the workforce with the qualifications demanded by the labor market, state-incentivized programs will be carried out by our Chamber and İŞKUR Provincial Directorate where our members can meet their qualified personnel needs in the fields they need.
Our member workplaces with personnel demand need to submit their preliminary requests in the relevant professions to our chamber. Requests of companies with preliminary request applications will be taken into consideration. Summary information about the program is presented below.
Within the scope of the program, our members with 1-4 employees can request trainees as many as the number of employees, our members with 5-9 employees can request 12, our members with 10-49 employees can request 24, and our members with 50 or more employees can request trainees up to half of the number of employees.
Trainees will be given vocational training not exceeding 160 days at most, and a significant part of the trainings will take place as on-the-job training in the workplace.
In vocational training courses organized in professions determined by the General Directorate, trainees will be paid 653.93 TL, and in vocational training courses organized in professions other than these professions, 457.75 TL will be paid and general health insurance will be covered by İŞKUR.
At least 60% of the trainees requested by the companies must be employed for a period of not less than 120 days and 2 times the actual course days.
Our members who want to benefit from the program are expected to submit their preliminary requests to our chambers until 17:00 on Friday, December 13. After the completion of the applications, detailed information will also be given by our Chamber to the companies applying. Best regards,
