Preparations Started for the 11th Milas Olive Harvest Festival
The Olive Harvest Festival, which has become one of Milas' important brands, is being organized for the 11th time this year. Preparatory work for the festival, which will be held on November 7-8-9, 2025, started at the Milas Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The meeting was attended by Milas Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman of the Board Reşit Özer, Milas Municipality Deputy Mayor Ali Özgür, and Milas District Agriculture and Forestry Director Ali Parlu.
In the meeting, ongoing works for the festival were evaluated and the details of the program were discussed. While it was stated that this year's event would last for three days, various activities, competitions, and interviews are planned for the promotion of Milas olives and olive oil.
MİTSO Chairman of the Board Reşit Özer stated that the festival is of great importance for the promotion of the region's agricultural values, especially Milas' geographically indicated product Milas Olive Oil. Özer said, “The Olive Harvest Festival is an organization that both supports our producers and contributes to the promotion of Milas. We will host the people of Milas and our guests with a strong program this year as well.”
