The photography exhibition titled "On the Trail of Water: Milas", documenting the cultural and natural heritage of Milas, meets art lovers at the Milas Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MİTSO) Meeting Hall between June 23 – July 7, 2025.

The exhibition was prepared as a personal work of Asst. Prof. Dr. Gül Sarıdikmen from Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University. In "On the Trail of Water: Milas"; structures such as monumental fountains, historical water wells, springs, and waterways from the neighborhoods of Milas are photographed with an artistic and documentary perspective and presented to the visitors.

The exhibition includes frames obtained from historical fountains and wells in neighborhoods such as Çandır, Derince, Selimiye, Ekindere, Danişment, Şenköy, Kızılcakuyu, Kızılağaç, Karacahisar, Dörttepe, and Burgaz-Aydınlıkevler. These photographs, which carry traces of water culture from different civilizations as well as the Ottoman and Republican periods, have the quality of a journey in time.

Organized with the contributions of the Milas Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Milas Municipality, the exhibition aims to make Milas' rich heritage regarding water visible in both artistic and cultural aspects.

Art lovers can visit this unique exhibition on Milas' water structures that are on the verge of extinction at the MİTSO Meeting Hall until July 7, 2025.
