Hosted by the Milas Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MİTSO), an information meeting regarding the natural gas conversion process was held on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at our chamber service building. Akmercan Muğla Natural Gas Regional Manager Serdar Kaplanoğlu, representatives of companies authorized in natural gas conversion in the region, and MİTSO members attended the meeting.

Speaking at the opening of the meeting, MİTSO Chairman of the Board Reşit Özer emphasized that Milas meeting natural gas will be a significant gain for our district in terms of environmental, economic, and quality of life. Özer said, "Information sharing is of great importance for this process to be carried out in the most correct way for our members. Therefore, we come together with our companies and members and follow the process closely."

Akmercan Muğla Natural Gas Regional Manager Serdar Kaplanoğlu also informed the participants about natural gas infrastructure works, application processes, technical requirements, and points to be considered during conversion in his comprehensive presentation at the meeting. Kaplanoğlu stated that the works throughout Milas are progressing as planned and authorized companies will take an active role in the conversion process.

MİTSO Vice Chairman of the Board Hasan Tiryakioğlu, Board Treasurer Soner Çamlıbelen, and Board Member Koray Türkoğlu also attended the meeting.

The meeting ended with the presentation of certificates of appreciation to participating companies after the question and answer session.
