The Milas Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MİTSO) showcased Milas’s products with geographical indications at a booth it set up in the garden of the TOBB Twin Towers as part of the 82nd General Assembly of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB).

At the MİTSO booth, Milas Olive Oil, Milas Oil-Rich Olives, and Milas Çekişke Olives—all of which hold European Union geographical indication registrations—were showcased to visitors, along with Milas Tepsi Böreği, Milas Olive Oil Soap, and Milas Ekşili Olives. Additionally, information was provided to attendees about the 14 geographically indicated products that Milas possesses.

The MİTSO delegation included Board of Directors Chairman Reşit Özer, Assembly Chairman Mustafa Yüksel, TOBB General Assembly Delegate Özer Topuz, General Secretary Kazım Sarıoğlu, and Deputy Director of the Commercial Registry Volkan Tosun.

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu also visited the MİTSO booth to learn about Milas’s European Union-registered geographical indication products. The MİTSO delegation introduced M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu to Milas’s regional and geographical indication-protected products, including EU-registered Milas Olive Oil, Milas Oil-Rich Olives, and Milas Çekişke Olives.

MİTSO Board of Directors Chairman Reşit Özer emphasized the great importance they place on promoting Milas’s geographically indicated products on national and international platforms, stating, “We are delighted to showcase the values of our Milas at an important event like the TOBB General Assembly. We will continue our efforts to enhance the brand value of our products and reach broader audiences.”
