President Reşit Özer conveyed the main problems experienced in prominent sectors of Milas such as agriculture, animal husbandry, and olive cultivation, and ways of solution. He especially emphasized the high input costs, difficulties experienced in export markets, logistical infrastructure deficiencies, high loan interest rates, and employment of the young population.
Stating that especially SMEs and the producer segment experience serious difficulties in accessing finance, Özer expressed that high interest rates negatively affect investment and production and stated that urgent measures should be taken in this regard.
Reşit Özer called for common sense and cooperation for the sustainability of the regional economy, saying, "We continue to carry out solution-oriented studies to move Milas' production power further. We are determined to be the voice of our business world and contribute to local development."
It was stated that as the Milas Chamber of Commerce and Industry, active roles will continue to be taken on every platform regarding the solution of regional problems.
