Milas Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MİTSO) is preparing to host an important information meeting in cooperation with Muğla Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University Milas Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, TKDK Muğla Liaison Office and MAYBİR – Muğla Province Bee Breeders Association.

The “Meeting on Combating Varroa in Beekeeping and Legislation Information” will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at 13:00 in the MİTSO meeting hall.

In the meeting, methods of combating the Varroa parasite, which causes serious yield losses in beekeeping, current practices, and legislative changes will be discussed.

Within the scope of the program, technical information and presentations regarding support programs will be made by expert academicians and institution representatives.

While high participation is expected in the meeting, which aims to ensure that all producers interested in beekeeping activities access accurate and up-to-date information, a call saying “We kindly request your participation” was made to producers by MİTSO.
