The evaluation meeting, organized to promote Milas' historical, cultural, and tourism values more effectively and to increase the city's share of tourism revenue, was held with broad participation.

The meeting was attended by Ali Özgür, Deputy Mayor of Milas; Reşit Özer, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Milas Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Soner Çamlıbelen, Treasurer of the Board of Directors; representatives of travel agencies; and TÜRSAB officials.

The meeting comprehensively addressed how Milas' rich historical heritage and tourism potential could be made more visible. In the evaluations, it was emphasized that Milas, described as the "capital of civilizations," should be highlighted with promotional strategies befitting this title.

Participants pointed out that the 27 archaeological sites within the borders of Milas are of great value and stressed the importance of including these areas more effectively in tour programs. It was stated that Milas could become a strong destination, especially in terms of cultural tourism, gastronomic tourism, nature, and alternative tourism.

The meeting also highlighted the view that Milas should be positioned not only as a transit point but as a tourism destination in its own right. In this context, ideas were exchanged on increasing cooperation with travel agencies, carrying out joint promotional activities, and creating new Milas-focused tour routes.

At the end of the meeting, a consensus was reached on continuing efforts to promote Milas while preserving its values and highlighting the city's history and cultural heritage, with the support of TÜRSAB, through collective wisdom and cooperation.
