In accordance with the letter forwarded to our Chamber through the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), it has been deemed appropriate to inform our members about the “High-Income Groups Monitoring and Compliance Program” being implemented by the Presidency of the Tax Inspection Board under the Ministry of Treasury and Finance of the Republic of Turkey.

In the analysis conducted under this program, it has been stated that individuals who are partners in companies classified under B1, B2, and B3 size categories, as well as taxpayers who, although outside these groups, made high-value expenditures in 2025 and exhibit inconsistencies between their reported income and expenditures, are classified as high-risk.

Additionally, it was noted that taxpayers who did not file an income declaration during the relevant period or whose declared income was found to be inconsistent with their expenditures have been placed under monitoring, with the aim of increasing voluntary compliance and ensuring that tax obligations are fulfilled on time.

To ensure our members do not face potential tax risks, it is essential to exercise the necessary diligence in ensuring consistency between income and expenditures and in fulfilling tax obligations accurately and on time.
