Milas Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MİTSO) continues its efforts to ensure that quality and healthy olive oil reaches the consumer. In this context, MİTSO Chairman of the Board Reşit Özer, Assembly President Mustafa Yüksel, and Board Member Koray Türkoğlu visited the Tuesday Market established in our district and distributed free glass bottles to tradesmen selling olive oil in PET bottles in the market.
Drawing attention to the importance of presenting olive oil to consumers under healthy conditions, MİTSO officials informed and warned tradesmen not to sell especially in PET bottles.
Stating that EU Geographically Indicated Milas Olive Oil is a great value for our district, MİTSO emphasized that offering this valuable product for sale with the right packaging is of great importance for both the producer and the consumer. MİTSO will resolutely continue its awareness activities in this direction.
