Associate Professor Dr. Mehmet Cilbiz from the Faculty of Aquatic Sciences at Isparta University of Applied Sciences and Süleyman Oğuz Korkut from the Directorate of the Eğirdir Aquatic Products Research Institute visited Reşit Özer, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Milas Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
During the visit, discussions were held on the work that could be done for the geographical indication application of the eel, which has significant potential in Milas and its surroundings. Technical, scientific, and legal aspects of the process were evaluated, and valuable information and opinions were obtained from our professors. Reşit Özer, Chairman of
the Board of Directors of MİTSO, emphasized the importance of such collaborations for the protection and branding of Milas's local and unique products.
