Commercial Cooperation Visit to Milas by Officials from CVB Sales Romania
Bogdan Ciocoveanu, owner of Romania-based CVB Sales Romania, and Sales Manager Florian Drăghici were welcomed by Reşit Özer, Chairman of the Milas Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MİTSO), at his office.
During the meeting, the development of commercial relations between Turkey and Romania, the opening of the Romanian market to Milas's local and natural products, and opportunities for mutual cooperation were discussed. Chairman Reşit Özer informed the visiting delegation about Milas's potential in agriculture, food, and exports.
As part of the visit program, Romanian businesspeople made technical visits to companies operating in Milas. In this context;
- EMİNEMS Olive Oil Produce Food Tourism Construction Industry Trade Import Export Limited Company,
- Serci Olive and Olive Oil Natural Products (Mustafa Serci),
- Gümüşdoğa Aquatic Products Production Export and Import Joint Stock Company Füme Branch
were visited, and on-site inspections were conducted regarding production processes, product diversity, and export activities.
The businesspeople from Romania stated that Milas' high quality in the fields of olives, olive oil, natural products, and aquatic products has significant potential in international markets and expressed their openness to cooperation in developing the trade of local products.
At the end of the visit, MİTSO Board Chairman Reşit Özer presented the guests with a special plate symbolizing the Hekatomnos Monumental Tomb and Sacred Area, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List, as well as local products from Milas. Chairman Özer emphasized that Milas is an important city on a global scale not only economically but also in terms of its historical and cultural values.
The visit concluded with mutual expressions of goodwill and views on establishing concrete commercial partnerships in the future.
