Ebru Koralı, Chair of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (İTO) Restaurant and Food and Beverage Services Committee and Member of Parliament, visited the Milas Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MİTSO) with her husband Güner Koralı. Koralı was welcomed by Reşit Özer, Chairman of the MİTSO Board of Directors.

During the visit, topics such as developing Milas' economic values, possible work in the field of gastronomy, potential collaborations, and more effective promotion of Milas' geographically indicated products were discussed.

Speaking at the meeting, MİTSO Chairman of the Board of Directors Reşit Özer stated that Milas has significant potential with its agricultural production power and variety of geographically indicated products, adding that collaborations in the field of gastronomy, in particular, would greatly contribute to the promotion and economy of the district.

Ebru Koralı, Member of the ITO Assembly, shared her views on possible projects regarding the branding of Milas' local flavors, the development of gastronomic tourism, and making geographically indicated products more visible on national and international platforms, based on her experience in the gastronomy sector and her work within the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce.

The meeting also evaluated opportunities for cooperation in promoting Milas's culinary culture and supporting local producers through gastronomy events, educational and promotional organizations, festivals, and industry gatherings.

The visit concluded with mutual good wishes and a consensus on developing joint projects for Milas.
