Gürol Oktuğ and Alp Oktuğ, who operate under the Olimilas Olive Oil brand, paid a visit to Reşit Özer, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Milas Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MİTSO).

During the visit, information was shared regarding the new olive oil factory planned to be established in Milas. The Oktuğ family stated that they are building a modern facility that will add value to olive cultivation in the region and that the factory is expected to be completed by the end of the year.

It was noted that olive oils produced under the Olimilas brand have secured a significant position in the domestic market, and it was mentioned that sales of the products continue at Migros and Macrocenter stores. The Oktuğ family stated that they plan to further expand their market goals by increasing their production capacity with the new olive oil factory.

MİTSO Board of Directors Chairman Reşit Özer noted that Milas’s geographically indicated olive oil holds significant brand value nationwide, and stated that the new investment would contribute both to the regional economy and to the promotion of Milas olive oil. Özer emphasized that such investments in production and branding will further strengthen Milas’s position in the olive oil sector and extended his best wishes for success to Gürol Oktuğ and Alp Oktuğ in their endeavors.

The new investments in olive cultivation in Milas are expected not only to increase the region’s capacity for high-quality olive oil production but also
