Dursun Gökbel, a fellow townsman who previously served as department head at the Ankara Capital Branch of Ziraat Bank, paid a visit to Reşit Özer, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Milas Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MİTSO), at his office.

During the visit, discussions focused on Milas’s current economic structure, trade volume, investment potential, and the challenges faced by the business community. The parties exchanged views on promoting the district’s assets more effectively, increasing production capacity, and, in particular, strengthening the economic contribution of geographically indicated products.

Additionally, the importance of cooperation between the financial sector and the real sector was emphasized, and assessments were made regarding local businesses’ access to financing, sustainable growth, and regional development.

It was noted that Dursun Gökbel, who previously held significant roles in public banking, is currently active in the financial sector and provides engineering and consulting services.

MİTSO Board of Directors Chairman Reşit Özer thanked Dursun Gökbel for his kind visit and stated that they are open to any form of cooperation for the economic and commercial development of Milas.
