Milas Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MİTSO) hosted the “2nd Women's Touch in Agriculture” Training and Workshop Program on May 26, 2025. Organized with the contributions of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Muğla Women Entrepreneurs Board, the event aimed to strengthen women's labor in agriculture and gain new perspectives for women producers.

Topics such as sustainable agriculture, entrepreneurship, cooperatization, and marketing techniques were discussed in the workshop. In addition to training for women farmers, workshops and information sharing were also carried out.

Speaking at the opening, MİTSO Chairman of the Board Reşit Özer drew attention to the importance of women's role in agriculture and said:

“If there is women's labor in agriculture, there is abundance in production. As MİTSO, we will continue to stand by our women farmers and support them. Women taking more part in production is the basis of rural development.”

Women producers showed great interest in the workshop and stated that the information and connections they gained would make a positive contribution to their production processes.

MİTSO stated that it will continue its efforts to support women's entrepreneurship.
