Milas Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MİTSO) has undertaken an important work to introduce the historical, cultural, and touristic values of the district to wider audiences. Milas promotion maps, prepared by MİTSO, were printed in 20 thousand copies by Elit Reklam.
In the maps aiming to increase the tourism potential of the region, Milas' 8,000-year-old historical heritage, unique nature, and geographically indicated products were highlighted. The district's important archaeological sites, coastal resorts, museums, and local delicacies were introduced in detail. The maps will also contribute to visitors spending more time in Milas and discovering the region by containing guiding information.
The promotion maps will be distributed to taxis at Milas-Bodrum Airport, rent-a-car companies, and stands in arrival-departure passenger areas. Thus, local and foreign tourists coming to the region will have the opportunity to get to know Milas' historical and touristic riches more closely.
MİTSO Chairman of the Board Reşit Özer stated that the promotion activities aim to increase the share Milas receives from tourism and said:
