The 11th International Milas Olive Harvest Festival, which lasted for 3 days, was completed with intense participation and great enthusiasm. In the festival where producers, consumers, local governments, non-governmental organizations, and many guests came together; Milas' power in olives and olive oil was once again revealed.

Speaking at the opening of the festival, Milas Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MİTSO) Chairman of the Board Reşit Özer emphasized the international success of Milas olive oil and used the following expressions:

"Milas olive oil receiving the European Union geographical indication has been a turning point for our district. Our goal now is to make Milas olive oil known not only in Europe but all over the world.

This festival facilitates consumers' access to quality olive oil while raising awareness among our producers.

Olive is the foundation of our culture, economy, and future. As the Milas Chamber of Commerce and Industry, we will determinedly continue our efforts for the branding of our producers, increasing the quality standard, and ensuring that the name of Milas takes a stronger place in the world olive oil market."

Throughout the festival, Milas' geographically indicated products were introduced, olive and olive oil tastings were held, and producers and consumers came together. Enriched with concerts, folk dances, interviews, and panels, the program attracted great attention from both the local people and the guests.
