The Milas Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MİTSO) participated in the 12th Olivtech Olive, Olive Oil, Dairy Products, Wine, and Technology Fair, held at the İzmir Gaziemir Fairgrounds from April 30 to May 2, 2026.

MİTSO showcased Milas’s regional and geographically indicated products at a booth it opened in Hall C within the Muğla Metropolitan Municipality’s exhibition area. At the fair, Milas Olive Oil and Milas Oil-Rich Olives—which hold European Union geographical indication registrations—drew significant interest from visitors.

Attendees from MİTSO included Board of Directors Chairman Reşit Özer, Assembly Chairman Mustafa Yüksel, Board of Directors Vice Chairman Hasan Tiryakioğlu, Board of Directors Treasurer Soner Çamlıbelen, and General Secretary Kazım Sarıoğlu.

As part of the fair, a performance organized by the Milas Yörük Obaları Cultural Association on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at 2:00 PM was highly appreciated by visitors.

Meanwhile, MİTSO supported participation by organizing a bus service to enable its members to visit the fair.

MİTSO Board of Directors Chairman Reşit Özer highlighted the importance of the fair, stating, “We continue to promote Milas’s rich gastronomic values, particularly our EU-certified products. Such events make a significant contribution to both our producers and the brand value of our region.”
