Mustafa Yüksel, Chairman of the Board of the Milas Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MİTSO), and Yasin Erol, Secretary of the Board, Assembly Member Bülent Solmaz, and Chamber Member Ferhat Şimşek, paid a visit to Dr. Mekin Mustafa Kemal Ökem, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Bishkek, at his office.

During the visit, which took place in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, discussions were held regarding commercial and economic relations between Turkey and Kyrgyzstan, cooperation opportunities for the business community, and regional trade prospects.

The delegation provided Ambassador Ökem with information about Milas’s economic potential and its leading sectors, particularly agriculture, tourism, mining, and fisheries. Additionally, assessments were made regarding Milas’s geographically indicated products and export potential.

Expressing his satisfaction with the visit, Ambassador Dr. Mekin Mustafa Kemal Ökem noted that business representatives play a significant role in developing economic relations between Turkey and the Turkic Republics, and wished the delegation success in their endeavors.

The MİTSO delegation, in turn, thanked Ambassador Ökem for his hospitality and expressed their hope that efforts to strengthen commercial ties between Milas and Kyrgyzstan would continue.
